As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will provide safe, expedient, and cost-effective respiratory care services to patients of all ages with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, treat, and manage patients with respiratory illnesses and other cardiopulmonary disorders
- Perform respiratory care procedures, including patient assessment, treatment selection, and reassessment of treatment efficacy
- Document patient care in the medical record, including factual, accurate, complete, timely, legible, and legal information
- Bill patients correctly for services provided
- Associate Degree or higher in an approved CoARC program for Respiratory Care
- Active licensure with the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board upon hire and maintained yearly
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registry Eligible with RRT credential obtained within 1 year of graduation
- 0 to 3 years post-graduate experience
- American Heart Association BLS Certification
- American Heart Association ACLS, if not current at time of hire, must complete within first 6 months of Employment and maintained
- 36 hours a week
- 3 (12 hour) shifts: 7 pm - 7 am
- Required to work rotating weekends and holidays
