We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center in Worcester, MA. As a key member of our oral health care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to our mission of promoting health equity in our local communities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive oral prophylaxis services, including cleaning and polishing teeth, and instructing patients in good oral hygiene habits.
- Work chairside as needed to support dental care procedures.
- Participate in maintaining a patient recall system and accurately complete dental records.
- Demonstrate competency and proficiency in oral prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, and local anesthesia administration.
- Graduate of an accredited US school of Dental Hygiene.
- MA Dental Hygienist license.
- 2.5 years post-graduate experience as a dental hygienist, preferably in a community or public health setting.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese, or other language identified by Department as a need.
- Certification in delivering local anesthesia in the state of Massachusetts.
