We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team at Pinon Unified School District. As a school district, we prioritize student health and wellness, and this role plays a critical part in ensuring our students receive the care they need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Care and Support: Provide individualized care and assistance to students with physical, emotional, and/or developmental needs.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medication and treatments to students in accordance with healthcare plans and protocols.
  • Health Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all students at the school.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with parents, teachers, and other school personnel regarding student health needs, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Health Education and Support: Provide health education and support to students and families as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as school nurses and physicians, to ensure coordinated care for students.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Certification: Valid certification as a Nurse Assistant in the state of Arizona.
  • Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Experience: Experience working with children and adolescents preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain accurate records.
