Overview

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Outreach Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our Sports Medicine team, you will provide expert care to student-athletes, working closely with coaches, athletic trainers, and physicians to ensure the highest level of care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled care to affiliate athletes, including preventative interventions, injury assessment and triage, and return-to-sport readiness.
  • Collaborate with ATI's clinics on proper athlete care management, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Assist and monitor the rehabilitation treatment plan specific to the athlete and injury, utilizing evidence-based practices and protocols.
  • Independently manage the relationship with the affiliate, maintaining a positive work atmosphere and effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate in-clinic rehabilitation transitions with ATI's PT/OT services, facilitating safe and timely return to sport.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, Master's Degree preferred.
  • State licensure.
  • Basic Life Support and AED Certification.
  • BOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC.
  • Exceptional communication and coachability.
