Job Summary:

The Janitorial Services Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our community facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily janitorial duties, including cleaning common areas, offices, and restrooms
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and maintain a clean and organized trash room
  • Vacuum and mop floors, and clean windows and light fixtures
  • Participate in make-ready unit turns, including painting and carpet cleaning
  • Assist Maintenance Staff as needed
  • Maintain an inventory control of janitorial equipment and supplies

Requirements:

  • One year of experience in janitorial work
  • Ability to operate janitorial equipment and perform physical labor
  • Verbal and written language skills in English
  • Understanding and consideration of the type of circumstances associated with working with the elderly and handicapped

Working Conditions:

The Janitorial Services Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and physical labor. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
