We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Aerotek. As a Welder, you will be responsible for utilizing blueprints, layouts, and welding procedures to create high-quality welds.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize blueprints, layouts, and welding procedures to create high-quality welds.
- Weld flat, cylindrical, or irregular parts.
- Adjust the length of the radial arm to position the electrode over the weld joint when welding radial joints.
- Set current, voltage, and slope, and synchronize the feed of wire and flux with the speed of the welding action.
- Preheat the work piece using a hand torch or heating furnace.
- 1st shift: 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday, with 8 hours on Friday.
- 48 to 56 hours per week.
- Experience in carbon steel welding/fabrication.
- SMAW, GMAW, and Sub Arc experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of automated welding equipment is preferred.
- Full-time benefits, including health, vision, dental, and 401(k), starting within the first 30 days.
- Weekly pay.
