Cogeneration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Cogeneration Technician to join our team at Cutrale Citrus Juices USA, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting power and steam generation equipment for plant-wide operations.

• Operate and monitor power and steam generation equipment to ensure efficient and safe plant operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct chemical testing and treatment of boiler water to maintain water quality and prevent scaling.
• Collaborate with other personnel to ensure effective communication and coordination of plant operations.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned, including operating forklifts and other equipment as needed.

• Vocational school or some college courses preferred.
• 2 years of work experience in a related field, with knowledge of water treatment and chemical analysis.
• Mechanical aptitude, understanding of electrical systems, and computer proficiency required.
• Technical certificate and/or turbo machinery, steam, and boiler technical certificate or equivalent experience preferred.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to temperature extremes, moving equipment, heights, high noise levels, wetness, vibrations, fumes, dust, etc. Rotating shifts may be required.
