Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Jettison.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating various machines and supporting production.

Key Responsibilities:

* Learn and participate in machine set-ups, changeovers, and minor repairs
* Input machine settings according to work orders and machine set-up sheets
* Observe and detect deviations causing quality issues or improper machine functioning
* Perform quality checks to ensure all quality standards are met
* Track quantity of product for each order

Requirements:

* Ability to read and decipher information on shop packets
* Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
* Reading and number matching skills

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to grasp bundles of product
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time
* Lifting equipment is provided for loading and unloading rolls
* Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Environmental Conditions:

* Air-conditioned/heated facility with adequate lighting
* Personal protective equipment: hearing protection is required and provided
* Padded rubber mats are provided for comfort while standing
