Job Title: Radiology Tech

Samba Care is seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team in Red Wing, Minnesota.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiology Tech to work in our diagnostic imaging department. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, positioning patients and equipment, and ensuring patient comfort.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
  • Positioning patients and equipment, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort
  • Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitoring video displays to adjust density or contrast
  • Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation
  • Producing diagnostic images, reporting important information to physicians, and updating patient records
  • Organizing daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitoring radiographic supplies
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice
  • Performing scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment
