Job Title: Senior Engineer Liaison

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Job Summary:

The Senior Engineer Liaison will be responsible for overseeing the development, design, and production of repair, modification, process, and inspection documentation in support of Delta's worldwide maintenance activities. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including repair and modification procedures, process specifications, and inspection checklists.
  • Evaluate and interpret AD, FAR, and Delta policy requirements to ensure compliance in the engineering documentation.
  • Analyze and correct problems that hamper maintenance support activities.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance personnel as needed.
Requirements:
  • Four-year accredited undergraduate engineering degree (Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical) required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, with a strong background in repair analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel for AOG aircraft, with a valid passport.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong background in repair analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to create substantiation reports in support of aircraft airworthiness.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and maintenance requirements, processes, and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Word, Excel) and AutoCAD (Solid Works or similar CAD software).
