Job Title: Laurel Court Busperson

Join our team at Fairmont San Francisco as a Laurel Court Busperson, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and cuisine to our guests.

Job Summary:

As a Laurel Court Busperson, you will be responsible for supporting the dining experience by assisting servers, guests, and colleagues. You will be the face of our hotel, ensuring that every guest interaction is professional, friendly, and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist servers with all aspects of the dining experience, including menu knowledge and beverage service.
  • Ensure the proper setup of all side stations in the outlet, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Have knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, as well as all menu items, garnishes, contents, and preparation methods.
  • Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous service experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Previous Point of Sale System experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
Physical Aspects of the Position:
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs.
  • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling.
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
Visa Requirements:

Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
