We are seeking a highly skilled Transformation Coach to join our team at Evidence Based Associates. As a Transformation Coach, you will play a vital role in helping adult men overcome cycles of trauma and violence.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate cognitive-behavioral group sessions to help participants overcome obstacles and develop essential life skills.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 15 participants, serving as their advocate and providing case management to support their personal growth and development.
- Conduct weekly one-on-one coaching sessions, developing individualized plans to promote participant success and well-being.
- Review daily feedback and performance reports, identify barriers to participant success, and provide coaching and support to promote attendance, safe behavior, and effective participation in group sessions and transitional employment.
- Participate in collaborative meetings to assess participant progress and plan services that meet their unique needs.
- Facilitate transitional job orientations and visit participant work sites to understand behaviors in various settings and provide guidance and support.
- Assess career interests and aptitudes, guiding participants toward suitable employment and training opportunities that align with their strengths and goals.
- Lead job readiness activities, including soft skills training, resume preparation, and job search techniques to equip participants with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the workforce.
- Act as an intermediary between workers and employers to resolve workplace issues and promote retention, ensuring a smooth transition for participants into the workforce.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of all services provided, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Participate in regular, ongoing professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based approaches in the field.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field such as social work, psychology, counseling, human services, or education is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in training, counseling, workforce development, or instruction is required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with job readiness and/or cognitive behavioral curricula facilitation, including Thinking for a Change, OWDS, ART, or similar is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders.
- A flexible schedule is required, with the ability to work varying hours as needed to support participants and meet program demands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Office 365 is required.
- Familiarity with the Fair Chance Act is a plus, but not required.
- The ability to apply skills learned from prior work experience or formal academic training in a related subject area to the day-to-day project activities is essential.
- Demonstrated success in being participant-centered, self-motivated, and possessing excellent relationship skills is required.
