Speech Language Pathologist

Job Description:
The Speech Language Pathologist will direct all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education, and documentation according to organizational guidelines, professional standards, and community needs.
This role serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients, participating in quality assurance and customer service activities.
Responsibilities:
- Direct patient care, including evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, and goal setting
- Document patient progress and communicate with families and healthcare teams
- Participate in quality assurance and customer service activities
- Serve as a patient and rehabilitation advocate
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved curriculum in Speech Language Pathology
- Ability to practice unencumbered and in good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources
- Full knowledge of residents' rights
- Professionalism in presentation and ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
