Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily operations of the nursing services program, including planning, assigning, supervising, and evaluating the work of subordinate supervisors, nurses, and other assigned staff.
- Ensure the implementation of effective training and competency validation programs for nursing services, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Actively participate in and support the Complete Care Model, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
- Possession of a current license as a registered nurse in California.
- At least one year of experience in the California state service performing the duties of a Supervising Registered Nurse II, Correctional Facility, or equivalent experience in a licensed general acute care hospital.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and populations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
