About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class A Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a vital member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting food products to customers while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination to deliver food products to customers on time and in full.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using manual or mechanical equipment, such as two-wheelers or pallet jacks.
  • Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive relationship with customers.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
  • Ability to read and communicate in the English language.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
