Technical Writer

Symplast LLC, a leader in Mobile Practice Management for Aesthetic and Medspa Software, is seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality technical content, including user guides, integration guides, and API specifications, to support our software development team and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product teams to understand upcoming features and releases
• Develop learning content for products in multiple formats, such as text, video, and simulation
• Research and translate technical information into manuals and web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users
• Document new products and features, and maintain existing content to keep it aligned with evolving product functionality
• Gather metrics and customer feedback data about content, and update and innovate within content to satisfy customer needs and increase content accuracy

Requirements:

• BA/BS required or 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience designing, planning, and delivering content projects
• Understanding of software documentation workflow and ability to categorize content appropriately
• Experience working on or closely with software development teams
• Ability to take technical concepts and translate to user-friendly material
• Excellent writing skills
• Experience using learning content creation tools, office productivity suite, wiki, online learning tools, or comparable software products
