The Mission Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a Registered Nurse in the ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Deliver safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the ICU.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients/families to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certification 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
