Optometry Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometry Technician to join our team at Classic Vision Care. As an Optometry Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional eye care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-testing procedures and gather patient medical histories
• Take retinal photographs and maintain cleanliness of exam rooms
• Prepare equipment and set up the phoropter for the doctor
• Teach patients contact lens insertion and removal techniques
• Order and dispense contact lenses; process returns and credits
• Order pharmaceuticals and exam room supplies
• Assist patients with eyewear selections and purchases
• Dispense eyewear; perform adjustments and repairs

Requirements:

• Previous experience in optometry or a medical office is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation to commute between both locations
• Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks
• A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
