About the Job

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Diagnose and repair complex problems with diesel engines and other vehicle systems
  • Work with experienced supervisors and master technicians to learn new skills and techniques
  • Partner with colleagues to ensure efficient and safe work practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry developments

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to solve problems and work well in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills

  • The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
