Job Summary

The Medical Technician will provide personalized care and support to our residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, and companionship. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Essential Functions
  1. Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, as directed by their individual service plans.
  2. Monitor changes in residents' functional status and personal care needs, documenting observations and advising supervisors and/or clinical staff as appropriate.
  3. Administer proper medication passing procedures to residents.
  4. Assist in the development and updating of Resident Care Plans.
  5. Encourage resident participation in scheduled programs and activities.
  6. Conduct one-on-one or small group activities as assigned by supervisor in conjunction with the Vibrant Living Director.
  7. Assist with laundry and light housekeeping tasks as needed.
  8. Assist with serving meals and bussing tables as needed.
  9. Chaperone activities outside the community as needed.
  10. Monitor the community and take appropriate action to keep the environment safe, clean, and attractive for residents, guests, and co-workers.
Requirements

We are seeking a Medical Technician with a High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years of resident care experience. Medical Technician Certification is required, and state licensing requirements must be maintained where applicable.
