Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related discipline
- Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide both individual and group counseling to students dealing with social, emotional, or behavioral issues
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote student development and well-being
- Engage in student support teams and assist in creating intervention strategies
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, modifying interventions as needed
- Advocate for students' mental health and well-being within the educational community
Certifications:
- Massachusetts School Psychologist license
- National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) is preferred but not mandatory
