We're seeking an exceptional GPU Technology Lead to join our team at Roche Holdings Inc. As a key contributor to our research and development efforts, you'll play a pivotal role in designing and delivering innovative GPU-accelerated software solutions that empower researchers to explore new frontiers in genetics and genomics.

The Opportunity:

  • Drive the development of high-performance computing applications using C/C++ and Python, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Pursue excellence in software development by applying advanced algorithms, data structures, and programming techniques to achieve optimal performance and scalability.
  • Lead the implementation of best practices for software development methodologies and standards, ensuring the highest quality of delivered software products.
  • Establish close working relationships with engineering and research teams to ensure accurate communication of technical aspects to all stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 10 years of direct experience; Master/PhD a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in GPU software development or equivalent experience in coursework.
  • Proven expertise in object-oriented programming in C++, along with extensive experience with GPU-accelerated C/C++ libraries such as CUDA, Thrust, and TensorFlow.
  • Recent experience with C++14/17 compiler standards and algorithm frameworks like Boost and TBB.
  • Demonstrated ability to write, debug, and optimize parallel Linux applications.

Salary: $165,200 - $306,800 (Santa Clara, CA location). Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
