Position Overview

The CT Imaging Specialist is responsible for executing a variety of standard and advanced imaging tasks utilizing computerized tomography technology. This position may also require collaboration with fellow imaging professionals as needed. It is essential that behavior and communication reflect the core mission, values, and culture of Mission Box Solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Exhibit expertise in relevant competencies: Self-Leadership, Team Leadership, or Leadership Development.
  • Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including complex examinations, using state-of-the-art computerized diagnostic imaging systems.
  • Demonstrate skill in establishing and maintaining intravenous (IV) access and managing high-speed, pressurized injection devices.
  • Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and identify any potential contraindications.
  • Comply with established departmental and organizational protocols, quality assurance guidelines, and regulatory standards.
  • Organize and prioritize imaging procedures throughout the day to ensure optimal patient care and workflow efficiency.
  • Be adaptable and willing to rotate across departments and clinics to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Support Radiologists during invasive and biopsy procedures, utilizing CT technology for accurate anatomical targeting.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Ensure precise coding and entry of all charges associated with imaging services.
  • Tailor patient assessment, treatment, and care strategies to accommodate individual needs across various dimensions.
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality and avoid disclosing sensitive information unless necessary for job functions.
  • Embody the core values of Mission Box Solutions.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of CT experience in a clinical or hospital environment is required; 3 years in a clinical imaging setting is preferred.
  • Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications:
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) is mandatory.
  • ARRT registration in CT is required.
  • Current state licensure is necessary.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Compensation: BASED ON EXPERIENCE $27 - $39
