Job Summary

The Delivery Associate is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering merchandise to customer homes in a timely and safe manner. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and protect merchandise for delivery
  • Follow prescribed safety procedures to protect associates, customers, merchandise, and property
  • Use and maintain material handling equipment per process
  • Handle paperwork accurately and acquire all signatures per process
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining delivery schedule and a professional attitude
  • Call customers prior to delivery and maintain customer service standards during interaction at delivery
  • Address and relay any customer concerns to store management immediately
  • Interact with sales teams for special instructions for each delivery
  • Complete basic hookup for qualified home appliances
  • Perform deluxing of furniture, fitness equipment, and lawn & garden during delivery
  • Assist with store tasks including unloading trucks, loading customer vehicles, and moving product on the sales floor
  • Assist with cleaning and other housekeeping duties at the store

Requirements

  • Valid State Issued Driver's License
  • At least 18 years of age
