Sanitation Worker

Job Overview

The position of Sanitation Worker is a Temp to hire opportunity. Our client seeks reliable and diligent individuals to contribute to their operations.

The Sanitation Worker will collaborate with the waste management collection team to recover and dispose of refuse and collect recyclables throughout the metropolitan area.

Job Responsibilities
  • Accompany the driver to assist in the collection of waste and recyclables.
  • Engage in the cleanup of litter and debris as necessary.
  • Follow all directives provided by supervisors or team leaders.
Compensation Information
  • Hourly wage of $15.
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday.
  • Operational hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or until tasks are completed, with potential for overtime.
Position Requirements

Essential Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions, vibrations, extreme temperatures, airborne particles, and loud noise levels may occur.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit, stand, lift, and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent requirements to grasp, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance.
  • Capability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements and operate mechanical equipment.
  • Must possess clarity of vision and the ability to distinguish colors.
  • May need to lift items weighing up to 100 pounds.
