About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at BSC - Cherokee County, GA. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care to patients, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, and light housekeeping.
- Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, as well as height and weight, as necessary.
- Assist patients with active and passive range of motion, as defined by the care plan, and document any observed changes or concerns.
- Support patients with walking, outdoor activities, and other mobility needs.
- Develop and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a nursing assistant program.
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA).
- Certified CPR and a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
- At least one year of documented experience in a care-related field.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
