Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Delnor Health & Fitness Center, managed by Power Wellness Management. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional massage services to our clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide various types of massage therapy to clients, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
  • Ensure timely start and completion of appointments, maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote massage services and attract new clients.
  • Assist in the sales of spa products and services, maintaining a thorough knowledge of our offerings.
  • Collaborate with the spa team to create and implement monthly promotions and events.
  • Maintain a clean and organized massage room, adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards.
  • Fill in as an attendant, answering phones and making appointments as needed, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct monthly inventory of supplies, products, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, maintaining a high level of expertise and professionalism.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy school required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a spa setting preferred.
  • CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire (provided by Power Wellness).
  • Meet specific state requirements for certifications and/or licensure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with clients in a positive and service-oriented manner.
  • Proficient computer skills, with experience in core business software.
