Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services in accordance with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) and assist in service scheduling.
- Provide guidance and support to Teachers of Speech and Language Disabilities and Clinical Fellow Therapists during scheduled meetings and as required.
- Administer mandated speech-related services based on the IEP.
- Maintain detailed session notes that accurately reflect activities during both individual and group therapy sessions.
- Conduct annual assessments of students and generate periodic progress reports and annual evaluations that detail student performance, areas of need, and recommendations.
- Complete and update IEPs based on assessments, addressing individual communication needs.
- Assist in the acquisition of assistive technology for students requiring such support.
- Engage in Interdisciplinary Team meetings to advocate for student needs in communication and feeding.
