Job Summary

We are seeking a Legal Intern to join our team for the 2025 Summer. As a Legal Intern, you will work closely with our legal team conducting research on laws, statutes, and regulations pertinent to our organization. You will gain experience in various types of law, including administrative law, employment law, health law, and compliance/privacy law.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on laws, statutes, and regulations
  • Collaborate with our Appeals and Grievances team
  • Partner with Human Resources to offer trainings and reminders
  • Develop resources and conduct trainings on professional conduct
  • Review vendor contracts and polish issue spotting skills

Requirements

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited law school program
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strict adherence to client confidentiality
  • Solid grasp of the concept of legal compliance
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Uncompromising integrity and high ethical standards

About the Role

This internship is part-time (15-20 hours per week) during the 2025 Summer. It can be conducted either as hybrid or remotely from anywhere in the state of WI. The salary range for this role is $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience.
