Pacific Catch, Inc. is seeking skilled Bartenders who possess a comprehensive knowledge of diverse drink recipes and are dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for our patrons. The Bartender will be tasked with serving customers at the bar and fulfilling drink orders for the entire restaurant, including takeout requests.
REPORTS TO: General Manager
SCHEDULE:
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt role. Weekly hours may vary, and schedules are not fixed or guaranteed, often including weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts. Flexibility for server duties may be required based on business needs, with weekend availability being essential.
REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- In-depth knowledge of cocktails, beers, and wines, including recipes, history, and key ingredients.
- Energetic, outgoing, and customer-oriented personality.
- Excellent verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills and a high level of accuracy in cash and credit card transactions.
- Must obtain a Food Handler or Responsible Alcohol Service card within 30 days of employment.
- Familiarity with food and beverage laws and regulations.
- Reliable, responsible, honest, organized, and able to work independently.
- Punctual with a strong work ethic, quick to adapt, and committed to delivering quality service.
- Willingness to be cross-trained in various restaurant roles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to all company safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain hygiene by washing hands regularly and following health guidelines.
- Provide comprehensive bar service, including the preparation of wine, beer, and crafted cocktails efficiently.
- Verify guests' identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
- Be knowledgeable about Pacific Catch's ingredients and menu items, ready to assist guests with inquiries.
- Foster relationships with repeat guests by learning their preferences.
- Ensure a positive guest experience by presenting the drink menu, making recommendations, and promptly serving orders.
- Accurately record drink and food orders into the POS system and process payments correctly.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and bar supplies, restocking as necessary.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized, ensuring all equipment is sanitized.
- Prepare garnishes and maintain an attractive presentation of bottles and glasses.
- During downtime, proactively assist team members or fulfill other requests from management.
- Communicate any guest feedback or concerns to management promptly.
- Complete side work at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure readiness for the next service.
- Maintain professional grooming and attire standards.
- Prioritize the safety of team members and guests at all times.
