**Job Overview**

The primary goal of our Deli / Bakery team is to provide high-quality products to our customers. Team members engage with customers at the service counter, move incoming merchandise to the salesfloor, and maintain proper food safety standards. This role is critical to our team's success.

Live Better U

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Compensation

The estimated hourly wage for this role is $21.75 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Employment Type and Availability

This is a part-time role with available shifts including mid-shift and closing. The job location is Walmart Supercenter #2187, located at 2000 N WENATCHEE AVE, WENATCHEE, WA, 98801, US.

Job Requirements

The main priority of Deli / Bakery associates is to engage with customers, move incoming merchandise, and maintain proper food safety standards. Team members must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and safe work area. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Education and Experience

Education and experience in food preparation and service is preferred but not required. Applicants must be able to provide excellent customer service and work effectively in a team environment.
