As an Interventional Radiology Technologist at Kaiser Permanente's Tysons Corner Medical Center, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology team.
Job SummaryThis is a full-time position that requires a minimum of three years of recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting, supporting fluoroscopy and c-arm/surgical procedures. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, nurses, and physicians.
Responsibilities- Operate extremely technical imaging equipment and apply ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, utilizing image-guided surgical procedures, sterile technique, and radiographic technique.
- Use proper radiation safety measures to conform to the ALARA principle.
- Critique radiographs for quality and accuracy.
- Assist physicians with specialized diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, Vascular Interventional Radiography, or Cardiac Interventional Radiography within 24 months of hire.
- Radiologic Technologist Certification from ARRT.
- Demonstrated ability to perform all phases of Interventional Radiologic procedures, including assisting as an IR scrub tech.
Kaiser Permanente offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
