Job Summary
Under the guidance of the MRI Supervisor and Radiologist, the MRI Imaging Technician is tasked with executing imaging protocols as directed by Physicians, while adhering to all licensing, continuing education, and compliance with State and Federal safety regulations as mandated by law. This role must align with the established policies and procedures of McBride Orthopedic Hospital.
The MRI Imaging Technician is expected to utilize time, energy, and resources judiciously to operate within the approved budget for the MRI Department, ensuring that all activities reflect the mission, vision, and values of McBride.
This position is classified as safety sensitive.Essential Qualifications
ARRT Certification in Radiology Technology from an accredited institution. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
Current MRI Certification with ARRT is required. A minimum of one year of MRI experience is preferred.
