Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors, an H&R Block brand. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Provide tax planning and audit support to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and maximize refunds.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, applying this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual tax returns and tax planning.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, both in person and virtually, using video conferencing and chat tools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, supportive environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment 1 or equivalent.
