Responsibilities- Pre-Procedure Preparation
- Review patient medical history, doctor's orders, and previous imaging studies to ensure appropriate procedures are conducted.
- Explain the procedure to the patient, addressing questions or concerns to reduce anxiety.
- Complete necessary documentation, including informed consent forms and patient information, before the procedure.
- Verify patient identity and screening criteria to ensure safety.
- Prepare the MRI room by ensuring equipment is ready for the procedure.
- Conducting MRI Scans
- Operate the MRI machine, adjusting settings as prescribed by the physician to obtain high-quality images.
- Position patients on the MRI table, ensuring they are comfortable and aligned while adhering to safety standards.
- Administer contrast agents as prescribed, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
- Ensure patients remain still during the scan to obtain clear images.
