Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Senior Behavioral Health Unit, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and physician orders, maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Support patients and their families with empathy and education regarding care and treatment options, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Licensure: Licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Wisconsin.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of patient care experience in a healthcare facility, with a strong background in behavioral health.
  • Certification: CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider) certification at hire or within 60 days, demonstrating commitment to patient safety and well-being.
