Nocturnist Physician

We are seeking a skilled Nocturnist/Night Adult Hospitalist to join our team at Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care to inpatients, assisting them in recovering from acute illnesses and managing chronic conditions.

• Provide medical care to inpatients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Conduct rounds, perform procedures, and order diagnostic tests as needed
• Document patient information and communicate with other healthcare providers
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures

• MD or DO with CT State License and Federal DEA registration
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Experience as a staff physician or hospitalist preferred, but new residents are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work primarily at Danbury Hospital with some shifts at New Milford Hospital
• Flexible and variable 12-hour shifts, including weekends
