We are seeking a highly skilled Licensing Engineer to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to provide clean energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
- Stay up-to-date with US and international nuclear regulations, including new advanced reactors regulations.
- Create licensing and technical submittals for utilities and the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with Westinghouse customers.
- A degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering is preferred.
- Experience with the design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) plants and advanced reactor technologies.
- Ability to travel and accept temporary assignments at a nuclear power plant.
- Understanding of NRC regulations and Nuclear Industry Guidance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with technical writing.
- At least 10 years of experience relative to this role.
