We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will assist in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures, and emergency procedures associated with catheterization.

You will follow established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or credentialed invasive radiologist. Our team is committed to providing excellent patient care and is seeking an outstanding addition who shares our passion for patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate responsibility and accountability in recognizing and identifying potential and actual patient problems, collecting accurate data, and participating in the patient's care in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac A & P, specific conditions and diseases (CAD), and treatment therapies for the specific patient populations of the Department.
  • Assist in data collection and documentation of cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular procedures.
  • Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians.
