Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist or Limited Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Community Care Partners. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, updating medical records, and utilizing x-ray equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment safely and effectively, adhering to prescribed safety standards.
  • Position patients and x-ray equipment to achieve optimal diagnostic images.
  • Apply knowledge of shielding protocols to ensure patient safety.
  • Select appropriate radiation exposure settings for individual patients or examinations.
  • Utilize CR and DR systems to capture high-quality images.
  • Examine images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion.
  • Send and store images as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the imaging supervisor.
Requirements
  • Experience with radiologic equipment and imaging procedures.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and shielding techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
