Job SummaryThe LPN will work collaboratively with the Registered Nurse (RN) and other members of the care team to provide individualized, comprehensive care to patients. This includes providing direct evidence-based care, assisting with procedures, and performing lab and procedural tests within the scope of practice.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Assist with procedures, such as wound care, dressing changes, and vital sign monitoring.
- Perform lab and procedural tests, such as ECGs, blood glucose monitoring, and urinalysis.
- Document patient information, including vital signs, medications, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with the RN and other members of the care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of Georgia.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience as an LPN in an acute care setting.
