Job Summary

The Administrative Director of Neuroscience Services will be responsible for developing and overseeing Neuroscience Services that are complementary to the needs of our patient population. This position will formulate a plan for patient care that will achieve positive patient outcomes, operational, financial, and quality goals. The Administrative Director will serve as a clinical resource for staff members and will be responsible for patient care across various age groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and direct complimentary programs and services for persons with neurological disorders throughout the continuum of care.
  • Oversee patient care and ensure continuity of care based on clinical needs of patients in outpatient Neuroscience services.
  • Execute performance improvement and quality programs with a focus on the continuum of care.
  • Participate in the Neuroscience Service Line management team and help develop the overall vision and strategic direction for the Neuroscience Service Line.
  • Evaluate job performance and facilitate peer review.
  • Prepare and manage budgets as appropriate to current job accountabilities.
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians, executive leadership, and other disciplines regarding patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in healthcare or related field.
  • Three (3) years of management experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Proven leadership and expertise in the Neurosciences - Minimum of five (5) years' experience.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects/priorities successfully.
  • Demonstrated competencies in analytical, team building, and leadership skills.
