About the Role

As a Senior Nuclear Project Specialist at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier Fleets. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead a team of engineers and technicians in designing and building cutting-edge nuclear propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the design and development of nuclear propulsion systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and implement project plans to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree in engineering or a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing complex projects
