Prevea Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Athletic Trainer to join our team at Lakeland University. As a key member of our sports medicine team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient-centered care to student-athletes, ensuring their optimal performance and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide athletic training services to student-athletes, including injury prevention, assessment, and treatment.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and return to play.
- Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and medical staff to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify potential injuries and develop strategies for prevention.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Current certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) by the Board of Certification.
- Wisconsin licensure as an Athletic Trainer or eligibility for licensure.
- CPR/AED certification.
- Post-graduate experience in athletic training, preferably in a collegiate setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
This role requires frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, and other conditions common to a clinic environment. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
