Key Responsibilities:
- Provide System Administration in a mixed Microsoft Windows (Primary OS) and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment.
- Possess a solid understanding of Windows Server components, including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Linux integration.
- Collaborate in a fast-paced technological setting, employing troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues involving hardware and operating systems.
- Understand data RAID configurations and backup technologies; install and configure software applications as requested by users.

Essential Qualifications:
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory for security clearance eligibility.
- A University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Ability to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification within 6 months of hire.
- Familiarity with security infrastructure products and capabilities.
- Experience with Windows and Linux/Unix servers and workstations.
- Proficiency in VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), and ESX or other virtualization technologies.
- Knowledge of Windows architecture, deployment, administration, performance monitoring, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Skills in application installation and multi-server deployment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with NetApp storage solutions.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Ansible, or Python.
- Knowledge of system hardening using tools like SCAP and adherence to STIGs.
- Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
- Strong critical thinking abilities to solve technical challenges independently and collaboratively.
