We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Hockey Ambassador in the Metro Detroit community.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will serve as a brand ambassador for Learn Play Score Street Hockey, promoting the organization's mission and values in the community. This role involves participating in various street hockey events, supporting hockey clinics, and engaging with local residents to promote the sport of hockey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Detroit Red Wings brand ambassador in the Metro Detroit community and surrounding areas.
- Participate in various street hockey and hockey school events.
- Support Detroit Red Wings street hockey hockey clinics in the community, including instructing/coaching both youth and adults.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Off-ice hockey (street hockey & inline hockey) playing experience required.
- No minimum qualification for previous off-ice or on-ice coaching experience.
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will be expected to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures. The ability to lift and move equipment is also required.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
