Delaware North Gaming is seeking a skilled Security Officer to join our team at Orange City Poker Room in Florida. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify identification for proper admittance to the gaming floor
- Conduct cash escorts as required
- Monitor and report any procedural violations or illegal activity
- Maintain crowd control as needed
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a professional manner
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to obtain a State Gaming Commission license
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Effective communication through two-way radio
- Bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying occasionally
- Clear vision for day and night duties
- Exposure to a potentially smoky and loud environment
Work Schedule
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Overnight shift
- Holidays
- Weekends
- 8-hour shifts
