Job Description

Kingman Regional Medical Center (KRMC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pre-Operative Clinic team.

The clinic plays a crucial role in preparing patients for upcoming surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the surgical journey.

Position Purpose: As a Registered Nurse in the KRMC Preoperative Clinic, you will work closely with our expert medical team to ensure patients are physically prepared to undergo surgery safely.

Your role will include conducting thorough assessments, coordinating necessary testing, and providing vital education to patients about their procedure, anesthesia options, and post-surgical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients admitted for surgical or diagnostic procedures at the facility.
  • Gather history information, perform assessments, reconcile medication, and assist providers and staff in coordinating patient care.
  • Function as primary liaison between clinic patients, staff, and providers, and escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for exams.
  • Perform CLIA waived lab tests, obtain specimens, and participate in division meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Nursing Program (Associates or Diploma Program)
  • Azizona RN License or compact state
  • BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
