We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Landman to join our team at EOG Resources. As a Senior Landman, you will play a critical role in analyzing, interpreting, negotiating, acquiring, and preparing Oil and Gas Leases, Farmin/Farmout Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements, Participation Agreements, and Exploration Agreements.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and interpret complex land data to identify opportunities for lease acquisition and title optimization.
- Negotiate and draft agreements with landowners, lessees, and other stakeholders to secure land rights and interests.
- Supervise lease brokers and manage prospect lease acquisitions and expenditures to ensure efficient and cost-effective land management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of land data and title information into EOG's operations.
- 7+ years of in-house industry experience, preferably including West Texas.
- Proven experience drafting all forms of agreements (O/A, F/I, F/O).
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to work in a team concept on multiple projects.
- Bachelor's degree required, PLM preferred.
