Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Press Brake Installation Technician to join our team at MC Machinery Systems, Inc. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer locations to diagnose and repair complex technical problems on Mitsubishi Machining products.
  • Examine machines mechanically and electrically to perform repairs, including dismantling and rebuilding as needed.
  • Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone to provide timely and effective solutions.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze and troubleshoot problems.
  • Document product problems and resolutions in detail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to use basic hand-tools and operate a computer with Windows operating systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to work comfortably with heights and possess a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates or technical degree in a related field.
  • Experience with electrical measurement and inspection techniques.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems.
  • Experience in mechanical measurement and inspection techniques.

Working Conditions:

The job operates mainly indoors, but may be exposed to changing weather conditions. The noise level is moderate to loud, and the position requires frequent bending, twisting, and standing.
